The Pre-Owned Subaru Certified Program

When you buy a Subaru Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, you can feel confident that it's ready to roll. Each vehicle is from the current or past five model years, and has been driven fewer than 80,000 miles. Since 94% of the vehicles we've built in the past 10 years are still on the road today,* you can expect to enjoy it for awhile.

You'll know your vehicle meets Subaru's high standards because each one has received a CARFAX® Vehicle History Report, a rigorous 152-point inspection and reconditioning wherever needed. And, it will come with a Subaru-backed extended vehicle service agreement and roadside assistance, so you can buy pre-owned with peace of mind.

152-Point Inspection

Each Subaru Certified Pre-Owned vehicle passes a thorough 152-point inspection. It will be checked inside and out, from the undercarriage to under the hood. Anything not up to Subaru's high standards will be repaired, reconditioned or replaced.

Vehicle Service Agreement

You can buy with confidence, because every Subaru Certified Pre-Owned vehicle comes with a Subaru-backed, nationally accepted and recognized, 6-year, 100,000-mile powertrain coverage. Affordable upgrade options are available.

1. What does an Added Security extended service contract cover?

You may choose from two different levels of coverage:

Classic Plan
  • Classic plans cover nearly 1000 parts in all major component areas, including engine, transmission, drivetrains, front suspension, steering, brakes, electrical, cooling and fuel systems and air conditioning. Also provides towing and rental car reimbursement for covered repairs.
Gold Plan
  • Gold Plus plans include all Classic plan coverage plus hundreds more parts. In fact they provide essentially the same "bumper-to-bumper" coverage as the basic factory warranty. Only a few maintenance items and body parts are not covered. The Gold Plus plan also reimburses for lodging and meals when a breakdown interrupts your out-of-town travel, plus: 24-hour emergency roadside assistance*, $100 allowance for "Sign & Drive" dispatched towing, jump start, tire change, gasoline delivery, locksmith service, road hazard tire protection, computerized trip routing, dealer locator service and travel assistance.
2. Does Subaru also have a Maintenance Plan?

Yes, you can choose the maintenance plan best for you:

  • 2 or 3 years/30,000; 36,000; or 45,000 miles
  • Mileage intervals - 3,750 or 7,500
Road Side Assistance

The benefits of owning a Subaru Certified Pre-Owned vehicle follow you wherever you go. Each vehicle comes with 24/7 roadside assistance.
