The 2011 Forester line-up introduces new styling features, a new version of the Boxer 4 engine for Forester 2.5X models, new Consumer Electronics packages, and much more.

The biggest change occurs in the line-up, with the addition of two new models. The new Forester 2.5X Touring is positioned above the Forester 2.5X Limited as the top naturally-aspirated Forester in the line-up. Subaru of America Statement Regarding the earthquake in Japan

Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI), manufacturer of Subaru automobiles, is conducting an assessment of all of its facilities in Japan. At this time, it is believed that no Subaru automotive production facilities have been damaged by the earthquake on Friday March 11, 2011. As it is currently the weekend in Japan, further updates will be available on Monday.

 

We can confirm that no Subaru employees were injured at its Shinjuku headquarters. We are also currently assessing the situation at FHI suppliers, dealers and the impact on North American import vehicles. Production at the Subaru plant in Lafayette, Indiana continues as scheduled…
